Circo Cocktail Bar
Named after its circular bar, Bath's Circo cocktail bar and lounge is a chic blend of the old and new with classic panelled walls, luxurious Chesterfield sofas and a cool palette of chic grey tones accented by dusky burnt orange highlights. Featuring Tom Dixon lighting, Julian Chichester mirrors and a soundtrack inspired as much by the Balearic ideal as it is contemporary classics, its a venue that exudes a cool, calm and collected vibe.
Recently extended to include a four room low lit vaulted cellar, that includes our signature Chesterfield bed we've increased the capacity to over 270. As such it’s the natural progression to the original Circo bar. Featuring one of the most extensive back bars in Bath there is a stunning array of cocktails on offer, as well as a comprehensive champagne, wine and spirits list, served by our attentive and knowledgeable team.
We are also now serving food in the evenings from Wednesday to Sunday; a mix of Mediterranean salads, traditional stone baked pizzas and desserts designed to sate even the sweetest of tooth.
With Wi-Fi throughout the venue and sumptuous surrounds, it’s the perfect venue for the after work mid-week drink, or come the weekend come and shake a leg to our selection of in-house DJ’s playing a mix of funk and soul, through to disco, house and electro(fried) beats. Licensed to 3am at the weekends it’s the luxury venue that Bath has been waiting for.
Circo Easter Soul Weekender 6th - April 2012
With the dust only just settling on the dance floor that was Circo 54, we are proud to take another slice of musical history and pay homage to the golden soul and funk era of the late 60’s and early 70’s with three Easter nights of musical excellence and entertainment.
This months special Circo party (s) takes you on a journey through the soul years. The years that inspired and excited a thousand dance floors from Wigan to Memphis. So grab your talc, pop on your vest and bring your dancing feet to the Circo Easter Soul Weekender! Scooters are of course optional, the more mirrors the better…
Friday 6th April – DJ Graham S and David Forde kick off Good Friday with a Soul and Funk head to header. From James Brown to Jimmy Ruffin the boys will be getting on the good foot! £4 Entry
Saturday 7th April – DJ Eddie Boy (Motor City / Soul Sonic Shakedown) continues the Soul weekender theme digging in the crates with Northern Soul, Motown, Stax and (original) two-step dance floor classics. All original vinyl versions guaranteed! £4 Entry
Sunday 8th April – Wind down on Sunday with two movie classics – ‘Quadrophenia’ and ‘ Soul Boy’ showing at 6pm and 9pm in the Circo Vaults. Graham S and Simon D will be dusting off their original seven inch collections in between! Free!
