Taittinger N.V. Brut Soft and creamy with very good acidity and a lovely clean finish. This Champagne is exquisitely balanced and sumptuous. |

Pouilly Fuissé ‘Vieilles Vignes’ 2006, Domaine Jean Paul Pacquet The old vines used here bring additional weight of lovely fruit and complexity to this very impressive Fuissé. £31.00 |
Rose |
175ML | 250ML | BOTTLE |
Château Beaulieu Rosé 2008, Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, France Gorgeously full, balanced rosé with lashings of crisp, red summer fruits and the most wonderful, traditionally curvy Provencale bottle. |

Red Wines |
175ml | 250ml | Bottle |
The Raintree Reserve Red, 2008/9 Western Cape, South Africa Resisting the temptation to go for a big, bad bold Shiraz/Viognier blend as our House Red, we instead decided on this immensely drinkable, unusual blend of Merlot/Mourvedre & Viognier. It has a lucious fruitiness and we reckon it will be universally enjoyed! |
£3.75 | £4.90 | £14.00 |
Tremontane Grenache 2009, Rousillon, France Andy Cook, an up and coming winemaker in Southern France, has chosen parcels of grapes, some, especially Grenache, from some very old vines. The area is one of the most expressive and best suited terroirs for the expression of pure Grenache – superb! |
£4.00 | £5.25 | £15.00 |
Marche Rosso, 2008, Moncaro, IGT Terre Cortesi This extraordinary blend of Tuscany’s Sangiovese (used for the wines of Chianti & Brunello) and Marche’s soft, juicy Montepulciano grapes gives an amazing presentation of summer berries, smooth, smoky palate and a classic Italian style of refreshing red cherry fruit. |
£4.25 | £5.60 | £16.00 |
La Tourelle Merlot, 2008, Pays d’Oc, France A fabulously concentrated Merlot which is medium bodied and edgy but carries a deep, rounded palate of smoky red plums and dark berries. Really full-flavoured but gentle, this is immeasurably satisfying. Damn good! |
£4.60 | £6.10 | £17.50 |
Coiron shiraz/Malbec
A full-flavoured blend that capitalises on Argentina’s affinity with producing fine red wine, with intense black fruit flavours. |
£4.75 | £6.25 | £18.00 |
Vaquero Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 Smooth, ultra fruity, sunshiny and packed with punchy blackcurrant Cabernet flavours – a marvelous wine that is perfectly in balance. |
£5.00 | £6.60 | £19.00 |

£22.00 | ||
Cotes du Rhone 2007, Château St Noel St Laurent, France There are really meaty, massive Cotes de Rhones which are fabulous, but don’t suit every occasion. This Cotes de Rhone is less intense, really soft, and has mouth watering and elegant spice to it. |
£25.00 | ||
Castle Rock Pinot Noir 2008, Mendocino Valley, U.S.A. The most Burgundian offering of the series we tasted, combining elegance and power in equal proportions from the County’s mist-shrouded vineyards. A perfectly set texture of fine-grained, luscious cherry fruit. |
£26.00 | ||
Leylines Shiraz 2005, McLaren Vale Overt, roaring Shiraz with a core of silky black fruit, tobacco and smoky cherries made by the man that was responsible for making Grange (Hermitage) for 17 years, legend John Duval. |
